Ever wonder what really makes people happy? What is it that some people you meet just have? That "vibe" that lifts you up. An infectious, joyfull spirit. Being happy, joyfull and in infectiously good spirits is something we can all choose to be. A good mindset starts at home.
When it comes right down to it, we tend to complain. We tend to focus on wrongs because it's something we just can't seem to do anything about. When it's right, there's nothing to fix. That's the way it is. Or is it? Wouldn't it be healthier to talk about our joys?
What if we changed the way we looked at things? What if the way we looked at things made them change? Perception and how we choose to see our set of circumstances, is within us. One of my favourite expressions: Nothing changes if nothing changes.
When we build consistent habits, it's also healthy and good for the brain. We feed our brain good things, just like our bodies. How we see and do things, including our thinking process, which enables action, must start with us. We convince ourselves. We can talk ourselves into anything, quite easily.
Being aware is a mindfull choice. That's why we're up a rung or two on the ladder. Awareness sets our mood and subsequently, our actions. And as creatures of habit, our lives click along best when we surround ourselves with like-minded people. We change the things we can and are wiser for seeing the difference.
